OPEN MY EYES, LET ME SEE! BY EVANG. MIKE BAMILOYE

Have any us seen a sandy desert before? I don’t think I have, but I have seen a desert of stones and rocks before, some years ago when I travelled to Israel with some brethren However, if you have seen the movie: Ten Commandment before, you would see a sandy desert when Moses was being exiled from Egypt and was going to through a sea of sand. At every step he took, his step dug deep into the sand and his staff sank into deep into it.

I read a story of a young woman who missed her way into one of such desert several years ago. She had been expelled from her home with a young child. As she knew not where to go, she headed just somewhere, armed with no food but something like a 1 liter plastic bottled water, she headed in a direction she knew not and landed in a deep sandy desert. The bottled water could not last her and her little son long before it was exhausted in the hot baking sun of the desert littered with few small trees. The sun was bashing her head and draining the little waters remaining in her body, and the little boy was getting dehydrated fast.

Not knowing what to do, she carried the fainting boy in her hand, went to lay her down under the hot shadow of one of the nearby small trees. Unable to watch him dying, with tears streaming down her face, she too fast dehydrating, took her last walk a little bit away from the child to another tree, where she sat down awaiting her death. In her desperation, she cried out and offered last prayers to God, as she began to hear the dimming crying of the little child. She lifted up her voice and wept out her prayers to God to have mercy on her and her child.

She had lost all hope of survival, awaiting her death, then, suddenly she heard a voice loud and clear like an echo in the desert:

“I have seen your tears and heard your prayers!” she looked around in fear and saw no one. But hope arose in her that it must be God who spoke. She was happy she was not alone, God had seen her and heard her crying. She was just sitting and waiting for whatever the Lord who had seen her tears and heard her prayers would do. Like a flash, something went across her face, as if a veil was removed and very close by her right hand side, she saw an unbelievable thing! What is this! Oh! My God! She was sitting close to a well, builds up and covered up, a small silver metal pail with a short rope was tied to its handle. What! Water! Water! Is this real?

She staggered up to her feet and rushed to the well, she touched the pail and opened the lid of the cemented well. She looked inside. It is real! She didn’t even had to use the pail to draw the water. She reached down with her hand and the water soaked her hand to her elbow. Cold water. Almost iced. Oh! God! Iced water in a well in the hot desert!.

Genesis 21:19

And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.

Ah! So there had been water all along very close to her, but she could not see it until the Lord God opened her eyes to see it. She would have died if the Lord had not opened her eyes. She would have died with her child if there had not given to her that Divine Revelation of Heavenly provisions and supplies.

Genesis 21:18-19 KJV

Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.

And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.

She rushed to the well, feed the child with the water and she drank. But that child which the Lord God said He wanted to make a great nation would have died. The woman and the child would have perished if God had not opened her eyes to see the Heavenly supplies and Provisions that sustained both of them.

You and I need our eyes to be opened to see that Heavenly Supplies and Provisions to sustain both us and our vision which the Lord had promised to make great. You and I are that woman and the little child is our Vision. Unless the Lord open your eyes to some divine provisions and supplies that will sustain you and your visions, there is danger in the economy of our nation and the world that has become a desert. The whole world is in economic mess, but the Kingdom of God and the ministry and Visions of works of God can not be intimidated at all….IF THE WHOLE WORLD TURNS TO DESERT…then, those whose eyes are opened by God will still see iced water in a Desert Well.

We shall need God to open our eyes to see Divine Secrets of Heavenly Provisions and Supplies that both us and our Visions might be sustained.

THEREFORE, AS YOU SEEK HIS FACE ALWAYS, WHAT OTHERS DO NOT SEE YOU WILL SEE.

ROADS THAT ARE BLOCKED TO OTHERS WILL BE OPENED TO YOU.

WHEN MANY SECULAR ARTISTES IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY ARE STRANDED IN THE ECONOMIC DESERT OF THE NATION, YOU WILL SEE THE WELL OF WATERS PROVIDED BY THE HEAVEN TO SUSTAIN YOU AND THE VISIONS YOU CARRY.

YOU WILL NOT DIE AND THE VISION YOU CARRY WILL NOT DIE IN THE ECONOMIC DESERT OF THE WORLD.

YOU WILL SEE THE WELL AND GIVE OTHERS WATER TO DRINK. -MIKE BAMILOYE.#mikebamiloyedevotionals
